Taylor’s research interests include critical cultural studies, performative methodologies, post-humanism, ecofeminism, and new materialism. More specifically, Taylor uses performative methodologies, such as weaving and performative writing, to explore the complex entanglements between humans and the material world as a site of advocacy and social change. As an activist scholar, she seeks to challenge traditional methods of inquiry and communication by exploring the ways in which ideas are communicated at the margins; ideas pertaining to human’s relationship to the environment.
