Biography

Cristiana’s research explores body politics and femininity, particularly questions of fluidity, bleeding, bodily writing, and absence. Through an intertwined lens of performance scholarship and critical rhetoric, she wonders what it means to be/have a bleeding body and how/if cultural and individual depictions of the body guide interrogations of the self, the body, and bleeding.
