Energy, Beauty, and Black Matter: An Allegory for Environmental Futures

The Department of Communication welcomes former UNC COMM professor D. Soyini Madison to campus as part of the COMM Speaker Series in which she’ll provide a talk drawing from her new work on environmental justice and planetary futurity.

This event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. CLE credit is available.

 

About D. Soyini Madison

D. Soyini Madison is professor emeritus in the Department of Performance Studies at Northwestern University in Evanston, USA. Madison’s work focuses on the intersections of Performance Ethnography, Environmental Justice, and Poetics within Political Economies of Race and Gender. Learn more about Madison here.
