Soyini Madison is a former professor in the department whose work has been very influential not only in the field of performance studies but personally for Renee, Lisa, and Tony, whom she mentored. The event is a celebration of her legacy and impact on the department and the field. There are several pieces, including a workshop and a public performance, but all themed around how she continues to guide us.
