Internship Description
	WPLab Inc. is looking for a Marketing Intern to assist with growing an educational platform that will inform and educate about a cause of autism. With more than 20 lines of scientific evidence, we can now conclude without reasonable doubt that acetaminophen (Tylenol) causes many, if not most, cases of autism. It is our hope that we will contribute to a profound decrease in the prevalence of autism. The person who fills this position will get to be part of implementing the structures and marketing practices of WPLab, for educating others and amplifying the conversation to families, the medical community, and lawmakers around autism and inflammation. The Marketing Intern will work under the direction of the owner of Pivot Strategies (makeapivot.com), an accomplished marketing strategist who leads all marketing functions for WPLab Inc. What you will do (but not limited to): Implement the social media strategy across all platforms Research and contribute to the content development for marketing and potential peer reviewed literature submissions Collaborate in content planning for social and video development Engage in partnership and grassroots opportunities; planning, outreach, and engagement Write various content pieces for education, advocacy, and outreach Assist with other marketing needs as necessary Manage the portfolio of the non-profit fundraising on Etsy Qualifications: A computer with a stable internet connection and a space to work Desire to learn and willingness to consider new ideas Ability to receive and execute on creative feedback A keen eye for detail An appreciation for education regarding causes of autism and immune system dysfunction Schedule and Structure: This position is expected to work 10-15 hours per week This position is structured to be mostly remote, but will have regular in-person meetings Opportunities for more in-person work will be considered based on the preferences of the candidate Pay: $15/hour
