Video Production Intern Job Description
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking a video production intern to assist with content creation for social media. These videos will be a continuation of a storytelling project featuring the NC agriculture industry. The intern will be expected to travel with Marketing Division staff to farms, agribusinesses, and food companies to conduct interviews, film operations and special events, and gather b-roll footage for Department use. The intern will also be responsible for editing and producing videos as needed by the Marketing Division. The ideal candidate will have at least two weekdays of availability and work between 15-25 hours per week at $15/hour. The internship will run from February through May with flexible start and end dates.

Responsibilities Include:
• Filming of interviews, gathering b-roll, and covering special events as needed by the Marketing Division.
• Editing and producing videos ranging from 10 seconds to 3 minutes.
• Regular in-state travel via state vehicle. Some overnight travel may be required.

Candidate Requirements:
• Proficiency in Mac OS
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro X
• Familiarity and ability to shoot with Nikon D7500 DSLR
• At least 2 days of weekday availability
• Minimum of 15 hours of availability per week
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout North Carolina
• Valid Drivers License

Preferences:
• Drone experience, drone license and access to drone for use in video production
• Experience producing professional videos
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
