Grover Wehman-Brown’s research is concerned with Rural Public Culture, homelessness and housing inadequacy, and the spatial-political distribution of resources and burdens. Her current dissertation research considers the experiences of people who are inadequately housed or homeless, and the housed community’s engagement with the problem of homelessness and housing insecurity. This work is derived from ethnographic research conducted in a rural mountainous community in California.
