B.A., Brown University (Comparative Literature); M.F.A., The University of Southern California (Film Production). Media Studies. As a filmmaker and animator I have exhibited my work from Sundance to PBS National, by way of Mumbai, Göteborg, Casablanca, and many others. I’ve won a number of “best of” awards and have received grants from the Independent Television Service, Latino Public Broadcasting, and the Kauffman Foundation.   Lately I’ve been trying to explode the rectangle to which the moving image is usually confined, and this has led me to designing video for live theater and dance, and to creating installations.
