Biography 

Dr. Monje has a BFA in Painting, a BA in Linguistics, and MA in Communication and Society, and received his Ph.D in Communication and Cultural Studies from the Institute of Communication Research at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. His published work has appeared in Cultural Studies <=> Critical Methodologies, Communication, Culture and Critique and as book chapters.    

Research Interests

Dr. Monje’s research interests are at the intersection art, aesthetics, politics and the environment.
