Graduate students in the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Communication present the inaugural Confronting Contradictions colloquium and community conversation. This series brings the community together for collaborative, interdisciplinary dialogue.

Colloquium

Featuring Dr. Alexis Pauline Gumbs in conversation with Dr. Renée Alexander Craft around Black queer feminist resistance, art as activism, and the role of the academy in contemporary activism.

Note: Space is limited; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Community Conversations

Join us later in the week to continue the conversation around collective resistance and organizing, both within and beyond the academy. Food will be served! All are welcome to attend.
