Biography
David Dooling (PhD) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research is rooted in critical organizational communication, exploring politics of identity and difference in social justice contexts. He has written on topics such as gender and sexuality in organizational contexts, the neoliberalization of social movements, and feelings of shame and economic insecurity among workers. David employs (auto)ethnographic methods to explore the relationships between self, others, and organizations.
