The Department of Communication is looking forward to hosting a talk by our own esteemed faculty, Dr. Torin Monahan! His talk will be based on his recently published book, Crisis Vision: Race and the Cultural Production of Surveillance (Duke University Press, 2022). Monahan explores how artists confront the racializing dimensions of contemporary surveillance. This event will be held Friday, November 4, 4:00-6:00PM in 103 Hill Hall.
