| Assist the newly-merged, largest ice-skating youth organization in the state of North Carolina with re-branding and marketing its services for youth male and female synchronized skaters. This is a US Figure Skating sanctioned team with the highest-ranking team in the southeast. The founding coach is a UNC Communication Studies alum and die-hard Carolina fan. The group spans the whole central NC region but is based in the Hillsborough, NC ice rink.
Responsibilities include creating a PR and Marketing Plan, building a media package, creating wall clings and other physical marketing assets, creating content for all communication channels (video experience a plus), building press contacts, and interviewing appropriate media and industry contacts to generate a positive brand image and press coverage. |
