Internship Description
	Milestones Pediatric & Maternal Nutrition is seeking a part-time, unpaid social media & marketing intern to work during the summer of 2021. The Social Media & Marketing Intern will collaborate with the CEO on content creation, social media posting, marketing, and advertising efforts. The ideal candidate is creative, driven, an excellent listener, and is excited to contribute to the growth and success of a local, start-up company. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the CEO to create social media & marketing strategies to grow the company’s social media audience, increase sales & referrals, and drive traffic to the company’s website • Create social media & marketing content using Canva • Assist with social media publishing and scheduling • Engage with followers on social media accounts • Represent the company during meeting and events • Collaborate with local businesses and professionals on joint social media and marketing projects • Assist with data collection and reporting Work Schedule: 10-30 hours per week Minimum Experience/Education: Current college student with a major in communications, marketing, or similar field of study Requirements: • Current enrollment at a college/university • Based in the Triangle Area with reliable transportation to work at the Cary office, when needed • Letter from school stating the intern will receive college credit • Personal laptop that can be used at work • Availability to work at least 10-30 hours per week • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, & Canva • Knowledge of the major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, & Pinterest)
