Mary Domenico approaches communication ethics through the lenses of rhetorical theory, feminist criticism, and psychoanalysis. Her current research, on the role of communication in building and sustaining community in post-modernity, is a critique of the limits of language. Mary’s philosophical investigation into the spatial and temporal aspects of human nature, symbol use, and collective life argues for the necessity of a metaphysical approach to communication theory.
