Jing Jiang researches labor issues, identity construction and development in the context of migration and immigration, drawing on political economy, postcolonial studies and organizational communication scholarship. She investigates the dynamic intersections of race, gender, class, and nationality in the workplace. Specifically, her research sheds light on the impact of the intersections on the lives of native Chinese and Chinese diasporas in the United States.
